GenePANDA, a gene prioritizing approach using network distance-based analysis. Based on the available function protein association network, GenePANDA is a free web-based implementation tool for researchers to quickly rank the whole genome for candidate genes that closely associated with their genes of interest and derive novel candidate genes for further studies in complex diseases.
GenePANDA is user-friendly and easy to use. The input for GenePANDA is a list of gene symbol identifiers (known genes of one certain complex disease). The output is a simple, clear list of rank of whole genome with score, which can be downloaded or viewed online.
